Registration

An email will be sent to you from the University of Leicester’s Lifecycle Team regarding registration and other useful information i.e. paying your tuition fees. This email will be sent out on a weekly basis during August to any candidate who has received an unconditional offer.

The ID check for registration is due to take place the week commencing 2nd September 2024 and more information will be sent to you closer to the time.

Please see key points relating to registration – Only applicable once you have received your registration email in August.

• You will need to have fully completed your online registration at MyStudentRecord prior to attending your ID check which will ensure that your registration is completed without delay or the need for return visits.
• Complete ALL parts of online registration ASAP in order to activate your IT account including the University of Leicester Terms and Conditions.
• Add a photo to your online account ASAP in order to generate a swipe card (without this, you will not be able to access the buildings or central services)
• Student finance is only released following the Identity check on campus. Therefore it is important that students have all documentation and complete this as soon as possible to avoid delays in student finance being processed.

Make sure to bring with you the documents you need:

• UK students: Passport or full UK birth certificate (please note, a driving license is not accepted because it does not show your nationality)
• EEA/Swiss students: Passport or national identity card and Share Code if not provided in advance
• International students: Passport and visa
