Overseas Police Check

This section applies if you have lived abroad for over 3 months during the last 5 years.

As you may be aware, DBS disclosures do not include overseas police checks. As part of our safeguarding responsibilities, we therefore require an official document providing details of your police record. Please click here to read the guidance for obtaining overseas police checks.

If the overseas police check is returned to you in a language other than English, it is your responsibility to get the document translated by an official translation company.

Please note, we will be unable to accept you onto the course without this document, so recommend that you make arrangements to obtain this as soon as possible. When you have received the police check, please email it to us on pgcerecruitment@leicester.ac.uk.
