DBS

You are required to have a valid DBS through the University of Leicester in order for you to participate in the course. We have added you to the portal for this and you should recently have received an invitation link. Please note, this very often ends up in junk folders so please check here. It will likely have come from ‘KnowYourPeople’ or ‘First Advantage’.

If you already have a DBS on the Update Service, you do not need to complete another application. To validate this DBS, we need to see the original certificate in person, along with two forms of identification. Please bring these to us at the School of Education office.

Please note you will need your DBS certificate for Monday 2nd September 2024 and it can take six weeks to complete, so please ensure that you have applied in plenty of time. If you have not done this by this date, you may not be able to go into school
